- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★You need a 4WD to get to the park. Janet's leap is a most spectacular gorge. Would love to be out there when the rain buckets down and the water pours through the leap and out to flood the plains. Apparently before 2000 only about five people a year visited this National Park. Nowadays about 5 per day arrive. Camping in Gum Hole is the nicest area. Lovely walks and the wonderful Nat Park Ranger took us on a Greater Bilby hunt - just so we could recognise where they lived. It was day time so didn't see any Bilbies. Road south of here was challenging - deepest bulldust we came across! Very interesting country. Then on to Bedourie with the 5 star spa - hot artesian water!By Robyn C, March 11, 2017
